Sounders Kinect Jerseys

Over the past 2 years the Sounders have sported a rave green Xbox 360 jersey for most of their home games. Last year they added a neon yellow jersey that served as their primary kit during friendlies. They will have their neon yellow kits for one more year before getting a new set. The partnership between Microsoft and Seattle has always been very successful so with Microsoft's brand new Xbox Kinect just coming out I was thinking a great way to promote yet another successful product, would be to put it on the sounders jersey. It wouldn't last for more then a match or two but I believe it would sell and promote much better then their current alternate jerseys. Here is my custom design

With the MLS Superdraft next week, will the Sounders draft Rooney?

       With the 11th pick in the 2011 MLS Superdraft, Sounders FC may get a unique opportunity to draft a young man who despite having little experience as a professional soccer player has one of the biggest last names in the soccer world.  Not Wayne but John Rooney a player currently playing in the minor leagues of Englands soccer league has put his name into the hat to try and latch onto a MLS team on January 13th.

       The 5 foot 11 inch midfielder certainly fits a postion of needed depth for the club, and he did have a short tryout period with the club in the summer.But even with his superstar last name, many are spectacular about his talent. Johns brother Wayne was playing for Manchester United by the time he was 20, could it be that John just doesnt have that magic Rooney talent of his brother? You be the judge.
